It’s such a great point. Certainly we need specialists but often great leaps in science and technology are made by generalists. I was part of a startup some years back where we generalists took technologies from different fields and put them together in ways no specialist would have ever conceived to solve a very challenging science problem.
It’s good to try different things. It’s better to practice and get proficient doing things. It’s exceptional to master many things! Great post and cool video with the BRCC team
